For nearly 12 years I had the privilege of spending every day with Jeseca Ann Graves, my wife. She taught me nearly everything I know about being a man, and showed me and our two boys how important it is to seek the face of God every day and in every aspect of life.

Jeseca was the most courageous woman I've ever known or seen. In the midst of the battle against what the doctors called the most advanced, localized case of cancer they'd ever seen, she continued to teach the boys from home, maintained a rigorous schedule, took great care of me, and showed the world that you can have a relationship with the creator of all that we see.

Jeseca was an amazing artist, as well, a trait she's passed on to two aspiring artists bearing the same last name.

And now, due in large part to the work Jeseca did in our boys' hearts as she taught them from home each day, I'm watching Everen and Christian thrive in their own lives with a grounding in Christ.
