"Happy Heaven Day"

Jeseca passed away today at 3:01 p.m. I cannot express the amount of pain and anguish I feel. Jeseca is, was, and will always be the love of my life.

The boys have suggested that we have a party in celebration of their Mom. I agree. Everen wants to call it "Happy Heaven Day." He couldn't be more right.

For all who have prayed for her healing, and for those who will take this news especially hard, please do not lose your faith in our God. He is still good. He is still good.

Hi Jon,

Halleluya anyhow! I know that Jess is with the Lord, and guess what, she gets to meet my sister who passed last month :-) My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen you and your boys and give you joy and peace. Jeremiah 29:11.

Have a Christ Centered Day,

I am so sorry to hear about Jeseca's passing. I have been praying for you and your family and will continue to do so, especially for your precious children. May God hold you in his arms and help you find comfort in knowing that she is with him now. Thank you for sharing what you and your family are going through with us. With each posting you provided us with inspiration and a constant reminder of how much we need our Lord and how much he loves us. Thank you for helping those of us you do not know to work on our relationship with the Lord and to bring us closer to him. May God bless you and your family always.

Well Jon, I've been checking every so often to see if you've posted an update, as when I read your words there is beauty, hope and so much love expressed, and I am oddly comforted. Our God IS an awesome God, and He does use even the most trying times of our lives to bring about HIS ultimate plan for us and others. Jeseca is now at rest and supping at the Lord's table. HALLELUJAH

John (and boys) My name is Jim Lacy. I serve with Bob at New Venture Christian Fellowship. You and your family have been part of my prayers over the past week. To the boys: My dad went to heaven when I was 12. I celebrate with you that your mom is in heaven, and I know - firsthand - that Jesus will be with you through every part of your life - and sometimes you may even know that your mom is there - I pray you can celebrate those moments as well! I will continue to pray. Jim Lacy

Dear Jon, As I told you on the phone, I'm so thankful & honored to have you as a family member as being husband to Jeseca & father to my nephews. And I'm honored to be Jess's aunt. My soul has been touched & humbled by the examples of faith & trust you both have displayed in the Lord. The things Patty has told me about Jess has made me so ashamed of my own lack of growth & faith. And it was MEANT to. Her faith & yielding to Him & her passing has changed me & brought humility & more conviction to my soul than I can express. I've been a Christian for over 30 yrs & she a short time. But her growth shot past mine in that short time, & I have to say that in itself is humbling! She is now TOUCHING THE FACE OF GOD, & standing in His glory!! This fact is overwhelming to me! Jon, her battle of course in won. Ours are yet ahead of us. Lets continue the race before us & surrender each battle to God! All praise & glory be to Him!!! I love all of you! Gayle

I have prayed for your family and now I see that my prayer has been answered in His way. Praise God she is finally at rest and without pain anymore. Your pain and grief will fade with time, but the good news is Jeseca's (and your) witness to all the people she effected through Christ is an eternal work that He foreknew all along-and thats what she was created for-His glory. I'm reminded of the scripture Romans 8:18 For I reckon the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us. I'm sorry for your loss Jon, but now you will carry on with your boys and continue with the eternal work He has done in your heart and Praise Him daily for the blessing of having Jeseca in your life for a season and the precious gift of life she has given the boys. I will continue to hold you all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless-your sister in Christ
