Amazing people
The past week has been remarkable, as thousands of people have watched my plea for prayer. Many people have contacted me with their support and prayers, some have told me about their own experiences, and someone even told me to quit praying and live life out naturally without God, which I see as an opportunity for God to reveal Himself to him. Thanks to all of you who are continually holding us up in prayer. It has helped so much, and God has been faithful to give each of us peace.
Jeseca is still hanging in here. We went for a walk yesterday...one trip around the block was all she could muster, but what counted was that she got out and did it! I'm so proud of her.
I have quite a bit of work to handle these days, with homeschooling duties now turned over to me, work at the airport (which I do at the wee hours of the night/morning), and helping my father out with his business. Phew. Somehow God has enabled all of us to cope with this new style of life. I just hope it doesn't last for very long...I'm not nearly as capable as Jeseca.
And then, of course, there is this climactic prayer event on June 9. Jesus, please give me the words, your words, to pray over her.

Jon, I am SO very sorry this looks so dire. If the Lord sees fit to cure/heal Jes, it will be among the most spectacular "come from behind" miracles! We are praying SO hard! I'll see you tomorrow.

God Is Answer Enough
For Our Pain
There are trials & tribulations...and crises that will hit you
like a storm rising out of the sky.
One day life seems normal...with things under control
the next day your heart simply asks, "Why?"
But for all of the times when the why's are not answered
by a reply the human mind can contain,
There is God...plain and simple...for everything He is
is answer enough for our pain.
The sheer brightness of His glory...that unending glory
overshadows any darkness we feel.
And worshiping His face in the presence of brokenness
brings a clarity and comfort that's real.
There is great wisdom in the mind of the Almighty
and it surpasses any reasoning down here.
There is peace in just knowing His ways are much higher
and that peace comes to cover our fears.
There is unending power in the very name of God
and that power will propel us by grace,
Till we realize the trials are the stage & the backdrop
that shows a much deeper look at God's face.
There's a preciousness in walking through the heartache with God
and we come out on the side of great gain.
For there is God...plain and simple...for everything He is
is answer enough for our pain.

I continue to pray for Jes, you and the boys...that God will touch her with his mighty healing and loving hand; that He will give you His peace, understanding, and honor the faith both of you have had through all of the pain, suffering and heartache of this terrible illness. That the children will see their mother raised from her sickbed and back to health through the love and grace of Jesus and be able to run and play with them once again like before. That she will grow old with her loving husband and watch her children's children serve the Lord.
She is already a living miracle that has touched so many lives and I continue in agreement with you in hope and faith that God hears our plea for her healing. What a miracle that will be!

Many are praying and know GOD is about to do amazing things in your family. A MIRACLE is coming we pray!
