A day without sleep
What a drag. Here it is 5:10 a.m. and I just got in from finishing up some work at the airport. I have to be back at 8:00 a.m., so what's the point in sleeping.
I've been listening to the iPod Jeseca found abandoned in the dirt for the past six hours; amazingly it still works. I downloaded the entire Bible in MP3, then added Switchfoot's Beautiful Letdown, Mercy Me's new one, and Third Day's Wire. The lyrics in Beautiful Letdown are awesome. There's an amazing line in "On Fire"...."I'm standing at the edge of everything I've never been before." Think about that. Just one step away from who Christ wants me to be. I sure wish that were true. JG
